VICTORIAN CRAFTSMAN HOME
The home is a vintage in the downtown area - a Victorian style with high ceilings and period fireplaces and mantels. The antique rug is a beautifully patterned subtle colored design - a long runner placed at an angle in the room. Collaborative designs with a creative, very creative, client, who just happens to be my daughter. So proud of her.
It began with a kitchen renovation - one of the worst designs I have ever seen new homeowners inherit. The blue side cabinet was formerly stained wood and had been mounted in the middle of the room. We moved it to the wall - added the drop in stove and the hood along with subway tile over to the ceiling on the wall behind it. The living room shot is creative use of treasured and inherited pieces.
